|Q511NCC on 2016 Lloyd Viking 75C (Rover 75 Coupe)
MG-Rover produced a prototype Rover 75 Coupe that never made it into production.
The prototype car was originally badged as a Rover and then later as an MG, and pictures of that car can be found all over the internet.
It is not sure if the prototype car was ever used on the road or if indeed it even had an engine! (confirmation required on that one!)
In 2016 after spending over 2500 hours converting a 4-door Rover 75 into a 2-door Coupe, the owner of the car shown has created a masterpiece of engineering by producing his own version of the Rover 75 Coupe Concept Car.
Subtle changes in design like a shorter length of chrome trim along the length of the car and less pointy quarter glass have been used. The seats and window glass were obtained from various BMW cars.
Registered on a Q-plate, this '2016' Lloyd Viking 75C is powered by a Rover 2.5 litre KV6 Engine. Even though the 'New' car was registered in 2016, the original Rover 75 it was built from was registered some 13 years earlier!
...and such is the Vosa IVA and DVLA Q-plate system the 'New' car does not require an MOT for 3 years from it's 2016 registration date.
Anyway we want one, so please form an orderly queue, behind us!
