|SMC1 (SMC/Standard Motor Company) on 1907 Standard Model B 29.5 H.P. / Roi de Belges
This 1907 Standard Roi des Belges is believed to be the oldest surviving Standard in existence.
The car was found on a farm in Australia in 1956 after which it was restored to original condition by Standard-Triumph Australia Ltd, before returning to Coventry, England in 1958.
The registration number 'SMC 1' was owned by the Standard Motor Company and as such was transferred to this the oldest surviving example.
